Update

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I have been MIA yet again, has been hard to find time to do crafty projects and when I do, I forget to post them, even with my iphone app go figure.   I guess I may just have to schedule a time to craft and set up posts for each week which I am sure a lot of those busy crafters out there do.  Anyone have any other suggestions to stay on track with my blog posts.

I have been making projects to get ready for craft fairs, not sure when I will do one with my mom, as she is a jewerly maker, however working on completed projects so that I have them  done.  I have also done a few cards at a local scrapbooking store.

I will try to post more in the next upcoming months as there are a few techniques I have seen that I want to try.

My goal is to get good enough with card making or scrapbooking (as I need to start my daughters scrapbook)  to submit a project with craft magazine, as it would be awesome to be able to get published.   Then work my way to be able to attempt to apply for a design team, as I think that would be a lot of fun!  However that wont be for a very long time as I dont feel I am good enough yet.

Oh I also moved this month so I have been working on getting a craft area organized as I do not have a dedicated room and I have a 3 year old who loves to ``HELP`` and get ink all over the projects I have been doing.

I also had a huge score with a big sale with a local craft store and got ranger embossing powders for 2.50 I picked up the two that were left.

Well happy crafting!!!

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Sorry I have neglected you .. So much for my news years resolution about posting more, lol. I have been crafting every week or at least ever other week I just don't think to take a pic a blog about it.

Lately I have been obsessed with Glitter Ritz I just love it and my favorite thing about it is that once the glitter is on it doesn't come off, Yippeee!

Here is the card I finally finished.

Paper is old paper I have in my stash for a long time from when I was a creative memories consultant.

Hello fellow crafters!

Today is my dad's birthday and I made him a really quick card my cuts are not straight as I was not able to find my cutter. Really hate not having my own crafting space.

Here is the card I made using the new stamp set I got which is the Penny Black Sweet wishes. Love this set!

Hershey Bar snowpeople

Hello my fellow crafters,

As you may know I have been making a lot of my christmas presents.  So I made these snowmen/women. lol. and I think they turned out so very cute!   I have seen a few different versions of these snowmen, I have seen them first on Kerry's Paper Crafts blog, and since then I have seen them else where.  I can't remember the blog that I had first seen them being made with gloves, which is the idea that I like since your giving a gift as well as chocolate.  So I went to the local dollar store and picked up some mittens, and chocolate bars from walmart, and printed out the pdf file with the snowman body and away we went.   These took me less than 5 minutes to do. So they are a fun and easy project for anyone on your list.

Here is a picture on how they turned out ... there are two different snowmen, one using gloves that had fingers cut off and then they have another part that goes over top so I made it look like they were wearing a rounded toque.   The other was a pair of mittens, and I just tucked the second mitten in-behind it on the back.
