Hershey Bar snowpeople

Hello my fellow crafters,

As you may know I have been making a lot of my christmas presents.  So I made these snowmen/women. lol. and I think they turned out so very cute!   I have seen a few different versions of these snowmen, I have seen them first on Kerry's Paper Crafts blog, and since then I have seen them else where.  I can't remember the blog that I had first seen them being made with gloves, which is the idea that I like since your giving a gift as well as chocolate.  So I went to the local dollar store and picked up some mittens, and chocolate bars from walmart, and printed out the pdf file with the snowman body and away we went.   These took me less than 5 minutes to do. So they are a fun and easy project for anyone on your list.

Here is a picture on how they turned out ... there are two different snowmen, one using gloves that had fingers cut off and then they have another part that goes over top so I made it look like they were wearing a rounded toque.   The other was a pair of mittens, and I just tucked the second mitten in-behind it on the back.

Hot Cocoa Sliders

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Here are some more crafts that I have been up to recently.  Yes I know, I am posting again this week its a Miracle.  My goal and I guess New Years Resolution, is to post on my blog more actively and do more crafting projects, since my dream would be able to do what I love as my job, which is crafting.   So I figure I should start here by showcasing my work, and then we will be able to see my work as it improves, since there are still a lot of projects that I make that I am really not happy with, however I am still learning, with all my Youtube watching, and planning to attend more card making classes.  (Especually since there is a new AWESOME local craft store.)

Anyhow, I had first seen these hot cocoa sliders from Kerry's Paper Crafts, and if you have never checked out her site, you definitely should as she is very talented, and has LOTS of great ideas.  I find her a real inspiration, among many others in the crafting world that I follow.  Here is a link to the hot cocoa sliders she did this year .. they are beautiful.

Here is a picture at my first attempted at hot cocoa sliders, I tweaked the measurements a bit to fit my hot cocoa since they were Starbucks Hot Cocoa and they were taller than the ones Kerry used.   I have since made other ones using regular hot cocoa, which will be for the kids in my family the Starbucks ones will be for the adults.

Here is a picture of my first made sliders (not very happy with them, but I can only improve Right?!)

Very First Stamping Up Class - Christmas Cards

Hello My Fellow Crafters,

I am very sorry that I have not posted in a while however life has been crazy busy, with moving, christmas shopping, and all the crafty presents that I have been making when my child is not home.  (Some were attempted when she was, however it always ends up giving me a few more gray hairs.lol.)

On December 2nd 2011, I finally attended my very first Stampin' Up card class with my local demostrator, and I had a BLAST!    We made 4 cards , 2 cards with 2 different designs, and we got to make a bonus card which inspired me to create when I got home, as well as get the stamp set "snow much fun" lol.

Here are the photos of my beautiful cards:
